Scholarships
| The Association is pleased to be able to award
scholarships to alumni to help them pursue post secondary
education. Through a generous donation from anonymous donors, we
have an endowed scholarship fund. The earnings from this fund are
restricted for
scholarships. The scholarships awarded by the Association from this endowed fund have steadily grown: 2002 - $1,500, 2003 - $2,000, 2004 - $2,400, 2005 - $3,000, and 2006 - $4,000. Total scholarships funded by the endowed scholarship fund to date total $12,900. On behalf of the young people who have received these funds, we extend our heartfelt thank you to the donors who funded this endowment. In addition, to the endowed scholarship fund, the Association receives memorials which may be designated for scholarships. These include the Larry Smith "Dare to Dream" scholarship and the Marilyn Vitt memorial scholarship. For the past two years the Association has also funded the Presidential Freedom Scholarship in the amount of $500 per year.
