The Great Room was added new in 1995 when the remainder of this house was moved from First and Center Street to its current location. The original house was approximately 900 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. When it was moved in 1995 the living room was converted to a master bedroom and a second bathroom adjoining the master bedroom was added at that time.

When we pulled the carpet out in July, the original oak hardwood floors were underneath. If you like the charm of real, hardwood flooring you need to take a look inside this house. We just put new, engineered wood flooring in the Great Room and it looks nice, but the new stuff is no match for the real thing.
